To graduate with a Bachelor of Education Early Childhood you are required to complete 32 courses, including 26 core courses and six specialised courses that meet the requirements of the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50113) for early childhood educators.
From 2016 the prerequisites for this program will be English (4, SA); Maths A, B or C (4, SA); an Authority Science subject (4, SA).
If you have been awarded a Diploma of Children’s Services (Early Childhood Education and Care) through a TAFE institution or other Registered Training Organisation, you are not required to satisfy the entry rank or prerequisites listed to gain entry into this program.

Students admitted to undergraduate education programs at CQUniversity under the International English Language Testing System will meet the AITSL assessment criteria of a score of at least 7.0 for Reading and Writing and a score of at least 8.0 for Speaking and Listening on an IELTS test undertaken during the 12 month period prior to submitting an application for admission or have successfully undertaken an AQF Level 7 equivalent qualification in an English speaking country.
